About WOWlist
Even if you’ve lived in London for years, there’s always somewhere new to explore, something fascinating to experience, or an old favourite worth returning to. But finding the very best often means searching dozens of websites, newsletters and listings.
That’s why we created WOWlist: a carefully curated guide to London’s most inspiring places and experiences, all in one simple, easy-to-use website.
London’s finest, thoughtfully curated
From iconic institutions such as the Royal Academy, the Barbican and Kew Gardens to lesser-known treasures and hidden gems, every recommendation is hand-picked because we think it’s genuinely worth your time. We also seek out exceptional places and experiences beyond London, from beautiful gardens and historic houses to memorable day trips.
Introducing Boldberry Club
We believe life is richer when it’s filled with inspiring people, new ideas and shared experiences. That’s why we created Boldberry Club, a new initiative by WOWlist offering events for retired Londoners who want to make the most of their free weekdays.
From creative workshops to fascinating talks, each event is designed to be an enjoyable occasion, with something new to discover and people to share it with.

Q&A with our founder, Yuliya Petryk
Home is…
I was born in Ukraine, but London has been my home for over 25 years.
Where in London do you feel happiest?
Kew Gardens is one of my favourite places in the world. I also get very excited every time I visit Petersham Nurseries in Ham, especially on a beautiful Spring day.
What’s your favourite way to spend a day in London?
Wandering the streets of Mayfair, browsing the shop windows and art galleries, then stopping at Selfridges for a little treat. Or spending the day at Battersea Power Station, Coal Drops Yard, Notting Hill or Richmond… So many options in London!
Which London place never disappoints you?
The V&A in South Kensington. I’ve been there so many times, yet there’s always something exciting to discover. On my last visit, I stumbled across the ceramic pieces by Vicky Lindo, which I absolutely loved.
What’s your favourite London hidden gem?
Chelsea Physic Garden. It’s a charming little botanical garden in Chelsea, and I find that many Londoners have never visited it.
What would you do if you were London mayor for a day?
I’d make sure that everyone, whether a Londoner or a visitor, could use the loo in any café, restaurant or hotel. London is an exciting city, but it needs to be comfortable too!
What excites you at the moment?
Organising events for Boldberry Club feels like an exciting new chapter for WOWlist London, and it’s been incredibly rewarding. I particularly enjoy thinking about how to make every detail just right and create experiences that leave people feeling inspired.
